I am Matthew born in Nigeria, I am a Nigerian Salesian priest, after graduating in Philosophy, then in Theology, with various experiences with children and adolescents, especially the abandoned and needy I did another degree in Clinical and Community Psychology at the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. I am registered as a licenced psychologist in the Lazio Association of Psychologists in Rome, and currently as a priest and psychologist, I do psychological counselling for those in need, and for migrants in a psychological office in Rome. I had my PhD  in Trans-cultural Psychology on the topic of migratory stress in the context of adaptation, and at the same time I am attending the School of Specialisation in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.

I chose to become a socio-cognitive transactional analyst because it gave me the theoretical and practical tools that would allow me to work best, effectively and efficiently on a wide range of dysfunctional situations, from the least to the most disabling, and with paths of varying duration (short or longer psychotherapy).

To begin with, today, 23 August 2022, in a small, quiet and cosy town of Montesano sulla Marcellana in the province of Salerno, South of Italy, I decided to set off on this personal website adventure in order to reach out to different people around the world to share some of the gifts I have received from so many people who have enriched me with their generosity. Hoping that this platform will be beneficial in the finding of oneself.

Sometimes we could feel how it’s hard to breath and express our thoughts, echoing all around us. It may be overwhelming when everything seems to be crashing down. We may find peace in this madness; through this chaos we could write out a SYMPHONY……. IN THE FINDING OF ONESELF.
